Air Design’s newest product, features the “leading edge”
New for this coming season is a scraper designed exclusively for new-style Case IH planters.
Specifically designed products for specific needs — that is the goal of Air Design, a small U.S. company that specializes in planter scrapers, among other things. Air Design is long known for their original design of scrapers featuring quick easy installs. Air Design’s leading edge ability includes the wear resistance of Wearcarb™
"Wearcarb™ consists of parts made of solid cemented carbides that have great resistance to abrasive wear. This is the type of wear that occurs when two parts rub together. In some wear applications tungsten carbide outlasts wear resistant steel alloys by a factor of 100 to 1."
CNH Planter/inside disk scraper Instructions
The CNH planter is equipped with 2 different seed boot openers-one with a left leading disk & the other with a right leading disk. This makes the inside scrapers for each opener mirror images.
All scrapers are mounted to the inside face of the existing CNH scraper arms in the top 2 square holes with 2-5/16thx1/2 carriage bolts, not included
Note: the scrapers are marked with the part numbers as follows:
* Left leading opener= AD21067 consists of AD21065L- inside left side of opener with the left leading disk.-AD21066R- inside right side of opener with the left leading disk.
*Right Leading opener=AD21068 consists of AD21065R-inside right side of opener with the right leading disk-AD21066L- inside left side of opener with the right leading disk.
The Case IH scraper fits inside the offset planting disks, keeping soil out of the way so the disks can continue rolling freely. This particular scraper lists at $19.95 per row.
Scrapers are also available for these brands: Kinze, White 6100 series: Deere 7000 series: Deere 7200/7300 series and Deere 1700-80 planters.
