Air Design showcases the “inside story” for 2006
The goal of Air Design, a small U.S. company that specializes in planter scrapers, among other things, is to specifically design products for specific needs. Air Design is long known for their original design of scrapers featuring quick easy installs. Air Design’s leading edge ability includes the wear resistance of Wearcarb™
"Wearcarb™ consists of parts made of solid cemented carbides that have great resistance to abrasive wear. This is the type of wear that occurs when two parts rub together. In some wear applications tungsten carbide outlasts wear resistant steel alloys by a factor of 100 to 1."
The problem faced by many Middle America Corn Farmers is answered for 2006’s planting season. Those who own a John Deere 7200 or newer corn planter have dealt with the worrisome issues of soil build up between the disks. Build up between the disks can cause planting seed depth issues, and undue wear and tear of equipment.
Air Design introduces the AD21070 inside scraper as an answer to these problems. The easily installed scraper stops build up inside the openers. Now farmers can reduce wear of the disks, and assure the openers are operating as intended.
The AD21070 inside scraper is available w/bracket for JD 7200 and newer planters for a list price of $27.95 per row.
Air Design Scrapers are also available for these brands: Kinze, White 6100 series: Deere 7000 series: Deere 7200/7300 series and Deere 1700-80 planters.
